Date Ideas

Here are a few date ideas to give you a sense of the kinds of outings I love. I’m definitely open to trying new things too—though perhaps hold off on bungee jumping or scuba diving for now! Not to say never, ever, but maybe we could ease into things with a trampoline park or a snorkeling trip first.

This list has a mix of cozy, adventurous, and artsy dates that could be perfect for us, from chilled market strolls and hands-on cooking classes to quick escapes for a day. Whatever we do, I know we’ll make it funl!

Cozy & Romantic London Outings

A Stroll Through London’s Christmas Lights
How about we wrap up warm and take a romantic walk through the city’s dazzling Christmas lights? We can wander down Oxford Street, get lost in the festive glow of Carnaby Street, and finish with a mulled wine in hand at one of the little stalls along Regent Street. Simple, magical, and just the two of us.

A Day at the Museum
I was thinking, we could spend an afternoon at the British Museum or the V&A. There’s something about getting lost in all the history and art together, and best of all, it’s free. We can take our time, chat about the exhibits, and end the day with a quiet coffee at a nearby café.

Visit a Christmas Market
Let’s head to one of the Christmas markets this December, like Southbank or Greenwich. We can stroll hand-in-hand, sample all the delicious treats, and maybe pick up a few gifts along the way.

Cozy Night at a Pub
After a long week, how about we escape to a cozy pub with a fire crackling? We can sip on a pint or a glass of wine, enjoy each other’s company, and just unwind in a warm, welcoming place. Some pubs have live music too, which could add a bit of charm to the night.

Dinner at The Ritz
Their Christmas decorations are breathtaking, and we could indulge in a festive dinner that feels like something out of a dream. The whole experience would be unforgettable.

Theatre Night at the West End
A perfect evening for us could start with dinner at The Ivy—sophisticated and delicious. Then, we could head to a West End show, maybe The Nutcracker or something equally festive. A night filled with fine dining, culture, and of course, each other’s company.

Luxury Spa Day and Afternoon Tea
How about we spend a whole day pampering ourselves? We could head to a luxury spa, like The Corinthia or Claridge’s, for some treatments and relaxation. Afterward, we could indulge in a festive afternoon tea to top it all off. It’s the perfect way to unwind and reconnect.

Staycation at a Boutique Hotel
What do you think about escaping the city for a night? I’ve been eyeing the Shangri-La at The Shard or The Goring for a luxurious staycation. Imagine the view of London all lit up at night, enjoying breakfast in bed, and just getting away from it all—together.
